Art In The Dairy

7701 Tuckaseegee Road, Charlotte, NC 28214  USA

704-287-4572

The Grounds: The Dairy has two goats, one miniature donkey, and many chickens. Feeding of fruit, vegetables, and bread is allowed and encouraged.

Location: If I-485 were a clock around Charlotte, NC, the Dairy would sit at nine o’clock. It is less than one mile from the Airport exit (Exit #9) of I-485, near the dead end of Tuckaseegee Road at Wilkinson Boulevard.

Hours: Each artist keeps their own hours at the Dairy. Feel free to phone ahead of time to guarantee admittance.

The Dairy building is the former 1940 dairy processing plant of Black’s Dairy, a home delivery company, specializing in milk and ice cream.

Art In The Dairy opened in 2005 to increase the awareness and production of fine art glass in the Carolinas.

Today, the Dairy houses art studios of glass, metal, silver, and clay. When visiting the Dairy, please wear closed shoes, and many layers of clothing, as temperatures vary greatly from room to room.

Building Murals: Murals on our facility are created regularly by Victor Disparra. Find Victor (DESISM) on Facebook.

We are working studios of clay, silver, glass, metals, gems and minerals. Our artists move from studio to studio in creating their multi-media art.
